I want a hammock.
Don't tell anybody, but i don't have one either. And, I still couldn't write a haiku today.
Well, I've been hinting to Santa Denis Garrison about what I'd like for Christmas. I've already got a pony on the list, I'll be sure to drop a line about a hammock for each of us.
I'm also going to need two mature shade trees, with trunks about 10 feet apart -- preferably with a view of the Mohawk River.
Is it just me, or does bad weather generally inspire better haiku than good weather?
Well, in good weather, we're usually out enjoying it, whereas in bad weather, we're often forced inside to take solace with our scribblings. :) At least that's true in my case.
David, once I've got Santa Denis' attention, shall I also put you down for a train set this Christmas?
Just when did Denis offer to be Santa? And, did the offer include curmudgeonly male baby boomers as well as comely poetesses?
I sure don't want to press my luck, so just the hammock and trees should suffice.
We nicknamed Denis "Santa Claus" because of one of his photos with the grand, white beard. He said he has played Santa in the past, so now we've all been busy composing lists. As long as you've been good and not naughty, you probably qualify.:)
Great, In my opinion simply done a fanatastic level. You certainly fully understand just what you are talking about, and I might rather become powering that. Nice living then straight up but straightforward.
